Troubleshooting login issues
If you have trouble signing in, here are solutions to the most common login problems.
"Incorrect email or password"
If you see this error and are sure you're using the right email:
- Reset your password: Use the "Reset password" link on the login page to set a new one.
- Check for typos: Make sure there are no typos in your email address or password.
SSO (Single Sign-On) errors
If your organization uses SSO (like "Log in with Google" or "Log in with Okta"):
- Ensure you are logged into your company's SSO account in your browser first, then try to log in to Devpost for Teams again.
- Contact your IT department: If the issue persists, there may be a problem with your company's SSO configuration. Your internal IT team is the best resource to help resolve this.
"Account not found" or "Invitation required"
If the system does not recognize your email, it could be for one of two reasons:
- You have not been invited yet: Access to a private Hackathon Center requires an invitation from a coworker. Ask a colleague to send you an invitation link.
- You are using the wrong email address: Make sure you are using the company email address that the invitation was sent to. Personal email addresses (like @gmail.com) will not work unless an Admin has specifically invited it as a Guest.
