Supported image sizes and types

You can upload images for your hackathon page, project pages, and user profile.

Recommended aspect ratio

For main images on hackathon and project pages, we recommend an image with a 5:3 aspect ratio (like 1000 x 600 pixels or 1500 x 900 pixels). While other sizes will work, images with this ratio look best and require minimal cropping.

Supported file types

You can upload images in the following formats:

• JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg)
• PNG (.png)
• GIF (.gif)

For all other content areas (like descriptions or comments), you can upload any size image, and our editor helps you resize it.
