Set your schedule

Your schedule provides key milestones for participants. You will enter these dates and times later, but it's important to plan them first.

  1. Go to your hackathon page and enter Edit mode.
  2. Click the + EVENT button on the right-hand side to add key dates to the schedule.

Key events to schedule

  • Registration Opens/Closes: When can people sign up?
  • Kick-off Event: The official start of the hackathon. Include a location or virtual meeting link.
  • Submissions Open: This is the start of the "Submission Period" you will set.
  • Workshops: Schedule any optional training sessions or Q&As.
  • Submission Deadline: The final moment for project submissions.
  • Judging Period: The time you set aside for judges to review projects.
  • Winner Announcement: When and where you will announce the results.

Your Submission Period dates automatically appear on the schedule, but you can add all other events manually to give your participants a clear timeline.
