Set your schedule
Your schedule provides key milestones for participants. You will enter these dates and times later, but it's important to plan them first.
- Go to your hackathon page and enter Edit mode.
- Click the + EVENT button on the right-hand side to add key dates to the schedule.
Key events to schedule
- Registration Opens/Closes: When can people sign up?
- Kick-off Event: The official start of the hackathon. Include a location or virtual meeting link.
- Submissions Open: This is the start of the "Submission Period" you will set.
- Workshops: Schedule any optional training sessions or Q&As.
- Submission Deadline: The final moment for project submissions.
- Judging Period: The time you set aside for judges to review projects.
- Winner Announcement: When and where you will announce the results.
Your Submission Period dates automatically appear on the schedule, but you can add all other events manually to give your participants a clear timeline.
