Selecting a theme for your hackathon

Coming up with content can be tough. We’ve got you covered! Upon joining an organization on Devpost for Teams, you'll be able to create a hackathon using one of our templates.

Use the 'Start from scratch' empty template or one of the suggested templates to help you get started on populating sections of your hackathon site.

• Start from scratch - Start with an empty hackathon template. Includes prompt to guide your creation.
• Product Hack - Build a quick prototype and encourage participants to hack your own product!
• Bug Smash Hack - Make bug smashing more fun for your dev teams. 
• Skillup Hack - Learn new things. Show off new tools.

Alternatively, click on View all templates to select and preview the other templates to use for your hackathon. If you want to use one of the templates, click Use this template and the template will be applied to your hackathon. To edit the copy within the hackathon template, be sure to toggle the Edit mode on.
