How to judge projects on Devpost for Teams

Step 1: Access your assigned projects

When the organizer starts the judging round, you will receive an email notification.

1. Go to the hackathon page (using the link provided in your email).
2. Click the blue Rate Projects button on the page.

ℹ️ Note: This screen displays only the projects that the organizer has specifically assigned to you.

Step 2: Evaluate the project

For each assigned project, you will rate it against the criteria set by the organizer.

1. Review the project's description, required assets, and any submission details provided by the team.
2. For each criterion (like "Technical Implementation" or "Business Value"), select a rating on the 1 to 5 scale.
3. Optional: Use the comments box to offer valuable feedback to the team.

💡 Tip:  Your ratings and comments are saved automatically. You can revisit and edit your scores at any time before the organizer ends the judging period.

Step 3: Track your progress

You can easily see how many projects you have left to review in the top-right corner of the judging screen. Once you have scored all assigned projects, your ballot is complete.
