How to set up your profile and notifications
Your profile helps others learn about your skills and interests, which makes it easier to form teams. Your notification settings ensure you only receive the emails you want.
To get started, click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings.
Update your profile
A complete profile helps you connect with potential teammates.
- In the Settings menu, go to the Profile tab.
- Here you can add or update:
- Your profile photo
- Specialty: Your main area of expertise (for example, Frontend Developer, Designer, Product Manager).
- Skills: Specific technologies or tools you know (for example, React, Figma, Python).
- Location and About You.
- Click the blue Save Changes button.
Manage your account
- Go to the Account tab.
- Here you can change your password.
- Enter your current and new password, then click Save Changes.
Control email notifications
You can control which emails you receive from Devpost for Teams.
- Go to the Notifications tab.
- Use the toggles to enable or disable emails for:
- User feedback requests
- Comments on your projects
- General tips and best practices
- Your changes are saved automatically.
